Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025

Double your donation this week with the Big Give!

This week, give the gift of a musical future to a young person through the Big Give Christmas Challenge.

From midday on Tuesday 2 December to midday on Tuesday 9 December, any donation made to our appeal will be doubled until we reach our goal of £90,000!

For many young people, music is everything.

It helps them build communities, learn empathy, and understand the world and their place in it. But not all children have the opportunity to discover their love of music, or to build on their potential. Cost continues to be one of the biggest barriers for young people not just starting their musical journey, but progressing and pursuing musical excellence – and these are rising. A simple lack of money can prevent them from picking up an instrument or continuing their education. Sometimes, young people have the ambition and desire, but nowhere to turn to for practical support.

At Young Sounds UK, we are here to change this. By providing support and musical opportunities to young musicians from low-income families, we aim to make music accessible for everyone.

But we can’t do this without your support.

How to help
