How you can help
Everyone can play a part
If you believe that nothing should stand in the way of a talented young musician reaching their potential, we’d be delighted if you’d support us.
In order to develop and expand our work we rely on the committed generosity of hundreds of supporters. Will you join them so that more young people have the chance of a musical life?
If you’d like to support Young Sounds UK’s work with a donation of any size you can donate online, by cheque or a bank transfer. If you’re eligible, please remember to Gift Aid your donation.
Remember to Gift Aid it!
By declaring Gift Aid, Young Sounds UK can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. If you’re donating by cheque or bank transfer, please fill in this Gift Aid Declaration form. You can find out more about Gift Aid by visiting HMRC’s website.
If you’d like to donate in another way, please get in touch with our Development Manager, Sanpreet Janjua, on [email protected] or 0300 302 3422.
Become an Angel
Our Angels are key members in our community of donors who are committed to supporting talented young musicians. As an Angel, we’ll keep you up to speed about the difference your donation is making and publicly acknowledge your support as well.
Become a Champion
Our community of Champions give from £5 a month. By setting up a regular gift, you'll help us to plan our work for the long term to create lasting change. Find out more about how a regular gift can support young musicians.
Fundraise for us
There are many ways to fundraise for Young Sounds UK such as hosting concerts, marking a special occasion, remembering a loved one or embarking on sponsored challenges - you’ll raise much needed funds and help spread the word too.
Double your donation
Throughout the year we take part in match funding campaigns which can make your donation go even further! Donations made during these campaigns are doubled until we reach our fundraising target. Sign up to our newsletter or follow us on social media to be kept up to date on when these campaigns happen.
Leave a Legacy
After you have looked after those closest to you, a gift in your Will could do amazing things for young musicians. You can also help talented children continue their musical journey by leaving a legacy and passing on a musical life.
Name an Award
When you attach your name, the name of a loved one or the name of your company to an Award, you’re associated with giving wonderful music to the world. If you’d like to set up an annual Award to support a genre, instrument, region, organisation or in honour of an individual, we can help you find the way that works best for you.
Trusts and Foundations
We’re always very happy to talk to charities who have similar objectives to Young Sounds UK- to support talented young musicians in financial need - to explore the potential of working together more closely and so increasing our impact.
Volunteer
Are you looking for a charity to share your expertise and time? Perhaps you're a musician yourself, perhaps you know someone who has inspired you, perhaps you just want to support the next generation; but whatever your reason to want to help, we're always on the lookout for new volunteers.
Our supporters
We’re so thankful for to our donors and funders who give generously to support young musicians.
