We are appointing a mentor to work alongside our ‘Connector’ in Liverpool to help deliver our Furthering Talent programme. You will offer music based mentoring sessions to students in your Hub and will play a central role in supporting the Connector on the day-to-day planning and delivery of the programme.

Furthering Talent aims to effect significant change in how the musical potential of young people from low-income families is identified and supported. We work with our partner Music Hubs to train instrumental and class teachers in how to spot musical potential. Once equipped with the knowledge of what the key facets of musical potential look like they identify and nominate children for involvement in the programme.
Each young musician on our Furthering Talent programme receives:
Each area is coordinated by a local ‘Connector’, and we are appointing a mentor to work alongside the Connector in Liverpool.
You will play a central role in supporting the Connector on the day-to-day planning and delivery of the Furthering Talent Connect programme in your allocated Hub. You will also be a highly visible contact for the families and young people accessing Furthering Talent which will help you foster new mentoring relationships with the young people on the programme and offer online mentoring sessions on a need-by-need basis. You will also support with the collection of evaluation evidence.
Resonate (Liverpool) focusses all of its Furthering Talent work in SEND schools, supporting 30 young people with a range of needs across 6 specialist schools.
