Funded by theElias Fawcett Trust, four Award winners took part in an intensive four week chamber project led by musicians from the City of London Sinfonia in spring 2018. They tackled Mozart’s Flute Quartet in C. As well as learning this challenging repertoire they also developed key skills and techniques essential to becoming a sensitive and effective chamber musician. The project was also supported by post graduate students from the Royal Academy of Music’s Open Academy programme.
They prepared work was then performed at an intimate AYM fundraising concert at Burgh House, Hampstead.
This project formed part of a long-term partnership with the Elias Fawcett Trust.
