“I started playing the tuba because my teacher told me that only special people play the tuba and I wanted to be special. I played the mini tubas (tenor horn and baritone) and then finally reached my dream when I was 7 to get a proper tuba to play. It was my dream come true.
“My teacher thinks that it’s good to be versatile and so now with the help of Awards for Young Musicians I am learning how to improvise and make it up. This is a new way of playing and is good fun!”
