Launched in 2017, this Award supports young musicians from the area in which Cheryl King, a gifted musician and teacher from Surrey, lived and worked. The Award has been established in her memory with the generous support of her friends and family.
This award is dedicated to the memory of our dear friend Cheryl King. Cheryl was a wonderful musician and gifted music teacher, and was connected with many musicians and involved in teaching projects both privately and for the local music service in Surrey. She was committed to providing opportunities for ALL children to learn about music. The Award has been made possible by the generous donations of Cheryl’s family and friends.
Applications for this Award should be made via the normal application procedure.
